Patriot Golf Days provides funding in support of Veterans and military families through educational scholarships provided by Folds of Honor and PGA HOPE rehabilitative golf programming.
Patriot Golf Days began as a grassroots fundraising celebration in 2007, and over the last 15 years, it has grown to encompass a variety of fundraising efforts led by PGA Professionals and golfers in all 50 states.
These efforts have accounted for over $60 million and funded more than 12,000 scholarships to help Veterans, their spouses and children, but there remains a significant unmet need in the country. Over 6,000 U.S. troops were killed and approximately 52,000 were wounded in the 20 years the United States was at war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Among military dependents, only a fraction receive educational assistance. Funds donated over the holiday weekend are used in the local community where the money is raised.
Since inception, PGA HOPE has served over 10,000 Veterans in 46 states. Led by more than 200 PGA Professionals, PGA HOPE will serve more than 7,500 Veterans in 2022.

Due to the short notice (2 weeks away) and the upcoming closure of the restaurant, a modified Derby Day Tournament will be held this year. All weekly Saturday groups will maintain their existing position on the tee sheet. Additional tournament participants will fill in the remaining available times. No Advance Signup required. Everyone can play their normal game with whomever they choose. An 18-hole gross score must be submitted for contest entry.
To be a part of the contest(s) each golfer who chooses to participate will pay a $10 entry fee. This can either be paid at check in or when the scorecard is turned in after the round. When the card is turned in the player will then draw a #. This # is your horse in the derby. The golfer(s) with the Win/Place/Show horses will win either a $25/$20/$15 gift certificate respectively. The other purpose for the # is… the golfer can delete that hole’s score from their total. After all scores are submitted All golfers will be divided into 2 flights based on whether they are in the Win/Place/Show flight or the every other horse flight. Special Prizes will be awarded in each flight for the lowest gross score after the hole adjustment.

All 4 players hit off the 1st tee (or starting hole) only. The best drive is selected and all second shots are played from that ball’s position. The catch is that the person whose ball is selected does not hit a second shot from that location. In other words, only 3 second shots will be hit from that location. The same thing applies with the third shot. The player whose shot is selected after the second shot does not hit the third. Instead, the player who sat out the second shot is no back in the game. Each time the player whose shot is selected he/she will not hit the next shot. The only place that 4 balls are hit is on the first hole. The same holds true for putting. Whoever holes out does not drive on the next tee.
